Overview
L4 Networks, a leading technology oriented system integration and value added reseller, is establishing an employee owned subsidiary to expand its scalable business model in managed IT services, IT infrastructure services, virtualization and IT equipment sales in the Philadelphia metro area.
If you have an entrepreneurial streak, have the desire to help guide and grow a dynamic company and not just 'have a job', then this opportunity may be for you. We seek an experience business deployment / marketing professional to join the core team to help make this launch successful. You will become part of the team to guide, manage and grow the company. We estimate a start-up phase of 6 months during which we will quickly augment the already positive revenue stream to support the company’s growth.
The ideal candidates will not only possess the skills but will also be an investor, contributing your brain power, skills, and time in exchange for an equity stake. We are not asking for a financial investment. Parent company will avail existing well established trade credit, partner relationships, business, technical guidance. It will also underwrite the tactical operations like office, licensing, legal and accounting.
Description
- Working with the sales, channel and product teams and develop marketing strategies that target new business opportunities
- Providing support and resources to sales team to identify and close deals. Work with the appropriate sales leaders to establish sales goals and targets for sales team consistent with product line strategies and goals
- Support the sales team in developing a consultative selling process for uncovering and winning new business, including strong "value proposition development" for private cloud, thin client, IT security and related IT infrastructure products and how they meet customer needs
- In conjunction with the business teams, build relationships by meeting with senior executives to discuss their business issues, present best practice solutions and convey the value proposition of company products
Sustain rapport with key growth accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities - Identify technology trends and communicate these senior sales and management staff
- Provide insights from marketing visits and sales input to support development of strong business cases for future research and new product development initiatives.
Additional Qualifications
- Knowledge of the commercial IT market
- Self-starter with excellent follow-through
- Strong computer skills, namely with the Microsoft or Open Office suite of applications
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Highly developed business acumen with primary orientation toward process/systems, speed, cost quality and creating customer value and results.
- Solid analytical and problem solving skills, as well as ability to provide a sound and reliable judgment in complex situations.
- Creates and manages change through continuous exploration and learning.
- Strategy and execution skills with ability to operate strategically, tactically, and operationally
- Bright, energetic and friendly personality a must
- Sufficient engineering or technical knowledge to make complex engineering and economic decisions to convince potential buyers of the practical value of the product or service
- Be able to provide/drive own car.

- Minimum BS/BA equivalent degree and experience
