L4 Networks Workstations
L4 Networks builds several junkware free workstations designed to work in environments requiring high reliability and performance such as medical, engineering, and other demanding environments. We also build general purpose business machines suitable for everyday computing.
Components
As with our servers, we only use high quality brand name non proprietary components. These include components from Intel, GigaByte, Seagate, Hitachi, Crucial, and others. All components are listed on the specifications so you always know what is in the unit.
How we do it
Our engineers are trained in Intel, Microsoft, VMware and Linux. We work with your IT specialists and/or with your application vendor and analyze numerous technical metrics depending on the specific roll the workstation will play. We also examine your budget targets, redundancy requirements, environmental considerations and related overall project goals. The results are a solid workstation specification for the hardware platform and related operating system and licensing configuration that is efficiently tuned to your exact needs.
Build and Configuration
Our engineers build your server at our U.S. location, installs the operation system and base configuration. All units are rigorously tested for several days before being certified as operational. Optionally we can install your specific application(s) and test these in conjunction with your staff and/or your application vendor's staff. For the medical community, we offer complete integration of the client portion of your EMR, Practice Management and related software. We also install and test the peripherals such as signature pads, interactive displays, card readers, etc. In this manner, 
when you receive the unit it is ready to go to work.
Installation and Integration
When the workstation is ready we can deliver it and perform installation and integration tasks on-site. If you have the in-house capabilities, we can ship it and work with you remotely to install it.
Warranty
All our units come with a standard 3 year warranty. Many of components we use have a manufacturer's 5 year warranty.
